In 1953, North Richland Hills was incorporated by a vote of 24 to 23.

    Today, it is difficult to avoid working, living, shopping or dining in North Richland Hills (NRH) due to its central location and abundance of major roads. The City, approximately 19 square miles in size has over 45 miles of major roadways including Airport Freeway, Northeast Loop 820, Boulevard 26, Davis Boulevard, Precinct Line and Rufe Snow Drive.
