THE WAY BANKING SHOULD BE
We first opened our doors about 30 miles south of Fort Worth in Keene. The bank was welcomed as a neighbor and important part of the community. That tradition has continued for over 40 years now. From as far north as Springtown down to Cleburne, we grew one community bank at a time. In 2002, we found out we had a lot in common with another bank started by the Dinsdale family. During the Great Depression the economic hardships took their toll on the people and the banks in Palmer, Nebraska. So brothers George and Tom Dinsdale, along with some friends, decided to do something. They pooled their resources together to open a bank for their community. They ran their bank much like they ran their ranches, which helped them earn people’s trust. So it didn’t take long before they were ready to reach out to other towns and states, including Texas. Today, Pinnacle Bank, Texas serves Azle, Benbrook, Burleson, Cleburne, Fort Worth, Joshua, Keene and Springtown. Although we’ve grown, we still greet you by name and answer our calls in person. We’ve been lead by the same local president since 1989, Peter G. Bennis.
