Once complete, the new design creates major changes to accessibility for Haltom City and creates an opportunity for commercial and mixed use development on hundreds of acres of raw land. Tax Increment Finance (TIF’s) Zones will add to incentives for sustainable economic development along the corridor.

    The Belknap Revitalization plan, the realignment of the intersection at Belknap and Highway 377, is slated to begin construction later this year. The new alignment will open up distinct corners which will assist in new commercial development opportunities.

    Access to adult education became easier for Haltom City area residents with the addition of the new satellite campus called Haltom City Northeast Center. Also, two new parks were recently opened in Haltom City; Whites Branch Park off of Western Center Boulevard and Revere Community Park at Stanley Keller and Revere Streets.

    Annual city sponsored events provide numerous opportunities for fun. Each year, the city hosts the Stampede 5K and Fun Run, SpringFest, which brings families out to celebrate springtime fun, the Haltom Halloween Carnival, Christmas on Broadway and so much more.
